How it works

  1. An authorized installer installs the access control hardware kit on a door/turnstile/barrier, or you use the portable terminal if you want time-attendance only (as applicable).
  2. The employee authenticates using an RFID card, fingerprint, or phone (via the Creasoft Pass app: Bluetooth / dynamic QR).
  3. The authentication event (START work or STOP work) is transmitted in real time to the Creasoft web platform.
  4. Breaks are calculated and extracted automatically in reports, as well as effective working time.
  5. The manager configures access rights, time schedules and access rules in the web interface.
  6. Optional: synchronization with payroll/ERP (free API or manual import/export).

Authentication methods

RFID Card

Classic, fast authentication, suitable for high-traffic flows.

Smartphone (Creasoft Pass) - Bluetooth / QR

Creasoft Pass enables cardless authentication, or it can emulate an RFID card on the phone if that card has been physically assigned to a person. When the app is opened, it broadcasts an encrypted ID via Bluetooth (three times per second) and also displays an encrypted, dynamic QR code, read by the Creasoft universal reader. The app includes anti-fraud functions so that a user can authenticate from only one phone.

Fingerprint

Available in dedicated configurations, depending on the customer’s policy and requirements.

Don’t need access control? Buy a portable device for fast time-attendance, without access control.

For scenarios without access control, Creasoft has developed a portable device that becomes operational immediately after being plugged into power. Time-attendance is intuitive: START (green, left) to mark the beginning of work and STOP (red, right) to mark the end of work.

Recommended for: vehicles, construction sites, warehouses, temporary points, agriculture, offices where only time-attendance is needed.

Payroll / ERP integration

  • Can it be used for access control only, without time-attendance?
    Yes. Rules are configured in the Configuration menu.
  • Can it be used for time-attendance only, without access control?
    Yes, via the Creasoft Pass app or the portable terminal using START/STOP authentication.
  • Can the phone replace an RFID card?
    Yes, via Creasoft Pass (Bluetooth / QR).
  • What happens if there is no signal?
    Employee/user IDs are stored locally (standard 6,500 IDs). Authentication events are also stored locally (standard 10,000 logs) either in the portable terminal or on the smartphone (for users clocking in via phone geolocation) and are sent to the server when connectivity returns.
  • Does it integrate with my payroll/ERP software?
    Yes, via API or import/export.
