New hires are significantly down.

Adrian Dinu, founder of Creasoft: Hiring growth has slowed significantly. If at the beginning of the year, a company with 100 employees would add 2-3 people each month, now they are hiring just one person every few months.

Companies are being more cautious about expanding their teams, and there is a noticeable slowdown in recruitment, says Adrian Dinu, the founder of Creasoft, a company that develops remote monitoring and control software systems. Creasoft's client portfolio consists of 500 companies with a total of 35,000 employees.

From conversations with clients, Adrian Dinu notes that there is not much optimism in the market regarding what 2024 will bring in terms of business, which could have a direct impact on the labor market. However, 2023 did bring some positive developments, particularly in the recruitment of white-collar positions, which went more smoothly compared to previous years.
